Welcome to Fuse Bistro and Pizzelle Bakery's first joint dinner celebration! Volksfest is an annual, traditional food and drink festival hosted in Germany, with Oktoberfest being their largest one. We will celebrate with good beer, great food, and live music from Lowell's own Class President.
The tasting menu includes:
Appetizers:
German Cheese Board includes Alpine and Camembert style cheeses, currant jam, cornichon, sauerkraut, and fresh made bread
Weisswurst and Pretzel includes white, herbed sausage with pretzel & sweet mustard
Knödel includes a light broth soup with potato dumpling
Entrees:
Curry Wurst Sausage with curry ketchup and fries
Weiner Schnitzel pork schnitzel with traditional potato salad and currant jam
Desserts:
Germknodel steamed bun with vanilla sauce
Black Forest Gateau chocolate cake with dark cherries and stabilized whipped cream
Our friends at Fuse are curating a special drink menu with German-style beer, specialty cocktails, and wine selection. Drink tickets are available to pre-order, but will also be available to purchase during the event. ID’s will be checked at the door; if you purchase a drink ticket but cannot verify that you are of legal drinking age, you will not be refunded, so keep it honest. The event begins at 6:30 and will take place at Fuse Bistro, 45 Palmer Street in downtown Lowell. Make sure to stick around after the food to enjoy a special live performance from local band Class President. Prost!
