Hi, I’m Shannon

BAKING. IS. LIFE.

Sounds intense, I know. Let me explain…

I’ve been in the food industry since I was 14. From early on in life my passion for delicious recipes has only grown stronger alongside my dedication for sharing it with anyone who’s hungry. It brings me an immense amount of joy to bring people together around a warmly lit table to enjoy from-scratch baking.

From the kitchens of Florence, Italy to Boston, MA, from owner of Sweet Lydia’s and now Pizzelle, from fine dining to food manufacturing, I’m substance over style and trends. Your taste buds will thank me later.

In a world that is full of life hacks, box mixes, and shelf stable blah, I’m bringing you recipes with rustic simplicity created with local, seasonal, and sustainable ingredients. Connecting our community and supporting one another in a way that is reminiscent of the past - before we were counting calories.

I’m want to share my love for all things culinary and inspire you to step back into the kitchen and have some fun with real, authentic ingredients in an accessible way.

This is my passion, this is all i know, this is who I am.

Let’s eat.

  • We are an allergy friendly bakery, but not an allergy free bakery. We work in a kitchen that uses nut, wheat, egg, dairy, and soy ingredients. We are all allergen certified and can modify certain recipes to suit allergen needs, but there is always a little risk.
